Unfortunately Liz Allwood and Val Hutton managed to resign from their committee duties-some of us tried as well but were not so successful! Many thanks to Liz who has been our Membership Secretary for 5 years and prior to that  general club secretary for 6 years and to Val who has been a very hard working committee member for very many years.

Life Membership

Ron Smith has been awarded life membership of the club in recognition of all he has done over the past 20 years.Well done Ron!

Purchase of tennis club land.

The committee is currently in the process of purchasing the club grounds from our landlord-Cheshire East this should hopefully be completed in the next few months. We felt this was in the club's future interest due to the uncertainty of being given an extension on our lease - our current one was coming to an end and also the unaffordable rent increase which was likely to be imposed on us.The purchase was made possible with a grant of £15,000 from Nantwich Town Council and using £27,000 of the club's funds.

Wish List.

The new committee will be trying to produce a new wish list for the club. The new lights on Courts 5+6 had been our last aim.If you have any wishes please email me or John - haywood666 @btinternet.com with them-please bear in mind that our club funds will be somewhat diminished if the land purchase is completed successfully but there is no harm in wishing!Things that we will be thinking about :-are upgrading the floodlights on courts 1-4,a knocking up wall and kid's zone, improvements to the carpark.

Use of club fund's since 1993.

You maybe interested to see what achievments the club has made over the last few years and how much it has actually cost the club:-

New courts 5 & 6 built .                £38.300
